How to have optimal radiant skin

Your skin is an incredible living organism that performs a vital role in the health and protection of your body. Hydration, pH, microorganisms and circulation are all being intricately balanced to enable the skin to function optimally. Here are some simple tips to keep your skin balanced and healthy without necessarily just working from the outside in, but from the inside out as well!

  1. Avoid refined carbohydrates and simple sugars – consume whole foods
  2. Stay hydrated – 8–10 glasses of water per day is ideal (more if you’re active and perspiring)
  3. Avoid products that contain sulphates, parabens, mineral oils and other nasty chemicals
  4. Exfoliate weekly to slough away those dull dead skin cells (especially after winter!)
  5. Replenish moisture by using a good quality night oil
